FGO Studio Artists in Fort Lauderdale

Michael Miller, tenor, Amanda Sheriff, soprano, Key’mon Murray, countertenor, Stephanie Doche, mezzo-soprano and Andrew Simpson, bass-baritone, applaud their accompanists.
Jerod Peroune and Caren Levine, accompanists, receive their well-deserved reception.

Last night, the FGO Studio performed a powerhouse of Baroque and Classical opera at Art Serve in Fort Lauderdale. The lucky, masked, socially-distanced and sold-out audience roared their appreciation for a program of rare beauty which showcased the considerable vocal talents of the artists. For many, it might have the first time that they heard the vocal beauty of a countertenor, that rarest of all voices. For the rest of us, it was a night to be impressed with the ease with which they all navigated such vocally challenging passages with trills and every embellishment!

Don’t miss their next engagements at ArtServe on March 5th and at the Center for Spiritual Living, Oakland Park on March 12th, and March 27th.
