Rebecca Luttio is quickly gathering attention for a voice described as “red velvet” and exciting audiences with a daring, dramatic sensibility. This past summer she was featured as Suky Tawdry in The Beggar’s Opera, and a “lay sister” in Suor Angelica for the Castleton Festival on the estate of the illustrious Maestro Lorin Maazel; the previous season she covered the title role in The Rape of Lucretia.

Ms. Luttio has also covered leading roles for the past two seasons with the Chicago Opera Theater as a young artist. She has performed with the Boston Lyric Opera, Opera North, Minnesota Opera, Operafestival di Roma, American Austrian Mozart Academy, and the Oberlin in Italy program.

Ms. Luttio recently graduated with a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
