Hailey_ClarkSoprano Hailey Clark’s recent highlights in 2014 include Leïla (The Pearl Fishers) with Fort Worth Opera and soprano soloist (Brahms’ Requiem) with the Henderson Symphony Orchestra; and in 2013 included Despina (Così Fan Tutte) with North Carolina Opera, soprano soloist (Messiah) with the Handel Choir of Baltimore, and Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi) with Opera on the James. This summer, she returns to the Santa Fe Opera for her second season as an Apprentice Artist to cover Marzelline (Beethoven’s Fidelio). Earlier this year she was named the first place winner of the Heafner-Williams Vocal Competition, and award-winner at the Shreveport Singer of the Year Competition. She is also a two-time regional finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, in 2013 and 2011. Other recent engagements include roles with Opera Saratoga, the Santa Fe Concert Association, and Arbor Opera Theatre. In addition, Hailey is an alumnus of the University of Michigan where she received a Master of Music Degree in Voice Performance, and the University of Maryland where she received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Voice Performance.
